The object of Craps is to bet on whether or not the dice when rolled will show a winning or losing score.
Craps is always played with two dice and three of the possible number scores are called "Craps", these are 2, 3, 12. The game of Craps is a game of rounds, with a round beginning with a come-out roll. The round then ends with either the shooter making point or 7 out. As shooter (the dice roller), you must make either a Pass Line or a Don't Pass bet on the comeout roll in order to play.
There are a number of betting options, any of which can be made during the same roll.
On the come-out roll, 7 or 11 wins, Craps loses. Any other number becomes "point" (marked with the ON puck).
E.g.
the come-out roll is 8 which now becomes point and the shooter continues
to roll until a 7 (Pass Line loses) or an 8 (Pass Line wins) is rolled.
